Heroes of the Storm Alpha Practice Mode – Accessibility First Look

Heroes of the Storm Practice Mode!

Hello, Ability Powered Gamers! I’m back with another Heroes of the Storm Accessibility First Look! This time we are checking out the first game mode available: Practice Mode. In practice mode you play the normal game, but you only play with Non Player Characters (NPCs). Not only are you against NPCs, but they are also on your team.  That’s right you can get the full Heroes of the Storm experience without having to be paired up with any other non-computer player. This makes practice mode the perfect place for anyone who is learning to play the game, a new character, or just has any anxiety about playing with other people.

Practice Makes Perfect

Another great thing practice mode has going for it is the fact that most games are over pretty quickly. It can also be paused as needed, so any one who suffers with fatigue can finish each match without worry. While in practice mode you can earn experience points and complete quests. All the maps that are in other modes are here also.

Heroes Gameplay

As far as gameplay goes, your character can be moved by clicking a few different ways. You can right click the ground, right click the minimap, or left click an ability and left click your target. Also, right clicking an enemy will cause your character to follow the bad guy if he gets out of range. This can be cancelled by right clicking a spot on the ground to run to.

Practice Mode for All

All and all Practice Mode is a relaxed form of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) action… something I never expected to exist. In short, solo (or with friends) games are fun for all. But don’t take my word for it, watch for updates here and on our YouTube channel! If this Accessibility First Look helped you here then check out our other First Looks!
